RUMOR: Kevin Dent seems to have a hunch that Destiny on Xbox outsold Destiny on Playstation.

WARNING: THIS IS TO BE TAKEN WITH A GRAIN OF SALT AND HE IS JUST STATING IT WITH PROVIDING ANY REAL EVIDENCE.  YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.  NOW; LETS DISCUSS.

Gaming industry guy Kevin Dent seems to think that Destiny might have outsold Playstation on the Xbox platform.  I do not follow his every word so I am not sure if he has an accurate track record, but then again who does in all this industry insider bullshit.  So I figured I would share this with you guys.  It would be very interesting if it were to end up being true!

The Tweet in question is on top of that image, but it states:

"I wonder when Activision will say that the Xbox version of Destiny outsold the PS version by quite a margin? #thingsyIhear #OUCH"

I am not sure under what circumstances that would happen, but I guess it is not out of the realm of possibility no matter how unlikely it seems.  If that were to be the case though it really would double down on my post from the other day that Sony's investment into Destiny for marketing was a failure.

Destiny did seem to sell well though on the Playstation consoles according to the CEO's at Sony.  Destiny Pushed PS4 Sales Beyond Any Other Week Since Christmas 2013.  Granted, that is just one week and it was probably the most hyped game of this generation so far so it is a bit expected that sales would spike, but good on Sony.  I am not one of those people that wants one company or the other to fail.  Sales are good no matter which way you split it.

Anyway, what do you guys think?  Is there any chance in hell that Destiny actually is outselling Playstation on the Xbox systems?  Or is Kevin Dent high on something?
